TAKE ACTION

Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose.
— Lyndon B. Johnson

Climate ready fisheries need Anglers to Take Action. As the highway sign makes clear, there is no center line. Anglers standing in the middle, rod in hand, doing nothing, will achieve nothing.

Regardless of the species we chase, the gear we use, the water we fish, we need to stand together and activate for fisheries.

Marine fish need activists. Anadromous fish need activists. Freshwater fish need activists. What is an “activist”? It is an individual who campaigns (i.e., works their tail off) to bring about political or social change.

An angling activist is INFORMED, ENGAGED, and ACTIVATED, working to protect what we love, and conserve it for future generations..

ARE you a climate-READY FISH ACTIVIST?

ACTIVATED

  • I will continue to remain active, and work to recruit other anglers to the cause.
